What's On In Sydney

Just a reminder what's on in the next few days…
Firstly, tonight the State of Origin is on, unfortunately I will be at work, but the State of Origin is always a good night (especially if there is a bit of rivalry in your family, between mates or co-workers), kickoff tonight is at around 8pm. It's even better going to the game than watching it on TV if you can get there, it's worth the money! See why you should go to the state of origin on this post. Here's the official site.
The Illusion finishes up this weekend - an independent theatre production of a 17th century play that’s a little surreal, absurdist and down right fun. Support the people who work for nothing to entertain you! Check out all of the details here.
Marcus Teague is playing the Hopetoun tomorrow night; I will most certainly be there for this fantastic gig. If you like your folk/experimental music, a lot of heart and cool, smooth lyrics backed with some skillful instrumental style, you will definitely enjoy the music of Marcus Teague. Find out more about Marcus and the gig tomorrow right here.
The Sydney Writers' Festival is also on this week, finishing up on Sunday - it’s a must see for anyone with even the slightest interest in literacy. There are a whole host of events around all corners of Sydney so check out the site and find something to see near you. Find out more information right here.
Okay, that’s the post for today. Stay tuned for tomorrows fresh update.
