Category: Misc
This is the second edition of the "Top 10 Best Things to Do In May" and the same rules apply as last time (which you shouldn't forget about! Its back Here). So here it is, the remainder of the list!
5. The Da Vinci Code Movie
4. The Illusion
3. Surry Hills Festival 2006 - "On the Green"
2. Marcus Teague - Hopetoun Hotel
1. Sydney Writers Festival
There are a few reasons I chose the 5 events above as being the top 5 things to do this month. Firstly, if you don't go and see the Da Vinci Code movie, you will be the only one falling endlessly through a pit of loneliness... Seriously, if you don’t see it when it premiers, you’ll be the only one.
On every theatre related site I’ve had a look on (well not all of them, some of the sites actually promote their own shows) The Illusion seems to pop up and demands some notice get taken of it.
I love festivals, that pretty much covers 3.
I'm so excited about Marcus Teague playing the Hopetoun (Front man of my favourite band - Deloris), this is fresh news, it was only just posted on his myspace that he is doing the Hopetoun show... this is soooo good! I love his music, such a brilliant musician! To hear some of his solo stuff go here. To hear some brilliant tunes from Deloris, go here.
However, I think that the Writers’ Festival definitely takes the top spot this month, not only because you can have a good time there, but you can take some advice and tips away from it in the interest of self improvement.
Remember that over then next few days, each of the above listed events will get the attention it deserves and will feature in its very own post! Stay tuned, get your going-out gear on and stick by your computer!
Well, have an Excellent day!
