Sydney Writer's Festival 2008

The week-long Sydney Writer's Festival returns for 2008 and is a celebration of the written word and the power of storytelling.
Writers and readers of all ages will come together for a program which features panel discussions, one-on-one interviews, talks, workshops, readings, performances, literary lunches, film screenings, events for younger readers, walks and exhibitions.
The idea of vision underpins the 2008 Festival program and the highlights include the Opening Address with Jeanette Winterson, Liyarn Ngarn, Simon Sebag Montefiore, Anne Enright, Judith Lucy and Closing Address with Junot Díaz.
