There is less than just two weeks to go until this year's Sydney Royal Easter Show opens at the Sydney Showground on April 5th.

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is the largest annual event staged in Australia, attracting on average around one million Showgoers each year. The show is a festival of diversity, culture and lifestyle - a celebration of the legacy that is Australian agriculture.


Each year, the Sydney Royal Easter Show aims to highlight Australian agricultural excellence through competitions and education and to promote national and international awareness of the country’s proud rural heritage.

Just to name a few, here is what's new for 2007:

There are nearly 300 Showbags on offer this year. As well as all your old favourites, the following new Showbags will be available.

Fashion & Style displays an extensive range of fashion and beauty ideas, accessories, designer pieces and products and services to satisfy all shapes, tastes and styles.

Kids World

Children under 12 will be treated to a world that comes alive just for them with activities, toys and interactive entertainment.

Entertainment

Live Music at The Shed

The Shed Program will run for all 14 days this year with a stellar line up of big hitting Aussie artists. The Shed is a music festival within the Show, an event that brings you Australian music at its best.

I'll be going with my brother, he likes the country events, like wood chopping.

I love the animals and the crafts and the Big Ring and anything else I happen across.

Good post, good to know of the 10% online discount.

Yep, the 10% online discount is great and would definitely come in handy for family passes where huge savings are to be made.
