The annual Sydney Festival returns for 2008 bigger and better than ever before with over three weeks of first-class entertainment around the harbour city.
The festival kicks off in grand style on January 5 with Festival First Night, a new and free event staged to mark the opening of the festival with over 200 artists performing in five different precincts! There will sure to be something to suit all tastes as streets, laneways and parks are given over to a day and night of music, dance and celebration.
Other free events in the program include Festival Kids in Hyde Park, Jazz and Symphony in the Domain, Family Nights at Darling Harbour and Eat Drink Talk Art.
