The Surreal Aesthetic
August 31st 2007 00:00
The surrealist art movement works to manipulate the mind and eye, visually deceiving the observer with obtuse angles that cleverly dictate lines of sight. This photography exhibition showcases all the provocative potential of the style that is forever associated with Salvador Dali.
Consisting of works by Bill Brandt, Duane Michals, Pat Brassington, Man Ray and Loretta Lux these are eccentric images guaranteed to involve and possibly disturb.

Hmmm, I think this one will either be flat out brilliant, or just a gag-fest of poor taste wihtout a dinner jacket on... I won'tbe able to get there, so you'll have to let us all know... *chuckle*
...either way, I think it would be really interesting to experience...and I hope it comes to Brisbane...
not holding my breath...
