State of Origin

So this is the last of the first round of "The best things to do in May" - that’s right, it’s the State of Origin! Now, I’m just excited about this as you are - Its big sweaty men, beer, screaming, hugging and playing with balls... and that’s just from the home front on Origin night! It’s a good opportunity to hang out with mates, have a few shandies, kick your heels up and scream at the TV.
But that's not all you can do on origin night. Just imagine that you have a particularly rowdy bunch of mates and you just bought a new $5000 plasma screen TV, do you really want to run the risk of some drunken guy deciding it was the TV's fault that NSW lost? I don’t think so. And this is exactly how I think you should present this argument to you wife/girlfriend/significant other. You need to go to Telstra Stadium on Origin night to protect you investment... The cheapest tickets are only $40, that $40 investment could save you a hefty replacement fee...
Tickets are available from the ticketek site, and there are a whole range of prices so go there if you’re interested. Origin 1 24th May 2006
Now go fourth and drink* and scream your lungs out!
