Soho - Annette Lodge: Other Worlds

Category: Art & Theatre Events
Today is a bit of consolidation... hooray! This is most certainly not a 2-dimensional blog... well mostly. I try to post up things a little early (i.e. not the day before) so you have a chance to get yourself organised and change all of your plans so you will do what i say is interesting. That means that the most relevant post isn’t necessarily the first one on the page. For example, if you just tuned in today and this was the only post you looked at, you would have missed all of the following events that are yet to happen or are currently happening:
The German Film Festival - on until the 30th of April
*
Kings Cross Food and Wine Festival - on 30th of April
*
Purple Sneakers - every week
*
Whitlams at the Metro - Friday and Saturday night
*
Minigolf - all the time, open until 12am
See? Fun stuff, still happening!
Now for Newness: Soho Galleries, "Annette Lodge: Other Worlds"
This Saturday a new exhibition is opening at Soho Galleries, "Annette Lodge: Other Worlds" basically it's 'Contemporary Narrative Paintings' - telling an inspired story of the artists trip to Patagonia in Southern Chile and Argentina... It may sound a little dry if you're not really into art, but it looks cool and even if you don't like it you can tell all of your friends how cultured you are because you went (willingly) to a brand new exhibition. The will all be suitably impressed.
The gallery is located on the corner Crown and Cathedral Streets. The exhibition opens the 29th April more info about the exhibition here and about the gallery here.
