Silk & Sand: Chinese and Australian Prints

The Silk Sand exhibition at the Ivan Dougherty Gallery is a collection of contemporary prints from China and Australia which showcases both the expected differences and the surprising similarities between 29 artists from the East and West.
Featuring some stunning prints from the likes of Wu Hong's sensitive red and black portraits of peasants, and local larrikin legend Reg Mombassa's distinctive brand of irreverent Aussie humour, this exhibition finishes on April 12.
