Until a few minutes ago I didn’t even know that this existed, but it looks damn cool...
It’s the Shoreshocked 2006 Free Youth Music Festival, on this Saturday in North Sydney. It has several excellent points,
1. Its free.
2. Its all ages (drug and alcohol free)
3. it’s in Sydney
4. it's free....
When was the last time you got something free in Sydney?? Okay so it:
Is on: Saturday, 1 April - 12noon to 8pm,
At: St. Leonard’s Park, cnr Miller & Falcon Streets, North Sydney
And costs: absolutely nothing!
It also draws a crowd of around 10,000 people who love their music and has been running for the past 13 years...
2006 Main stage line-up:
7pm - 8pm: SHIHAD
5.55 - 6.40: Grand Fatal
4.55 - 5.40: Hell City Glamours
4.15 - 4.45: Town Hall Steps
3.35 - 4.05: Head Of State
2.55 - 3.25: After Hours
2.20 - 2.45: Ace Squad
1.45 - 2.10: super FLORENCE jam
1.10 - 1.35: None The Wiser
12.35 -1.00: Horrific Scenario
12 -12.25: Roan
There is also a Hip-hop and a Dance tent as well a chill out area for acoustic stuff; there are also rides and things to buy. Think Homebake, but local...
