Scotland Island

One of Sydney's best kept secrets, Scotland Island is situated on the south end of Pittwater in the Northern suburbs of Sydney about an hour's drive (plus ferry ride from Church Point) from the city centre.
The area's unspoilt nature - it is only accessible by water - makes it seem a world away from the hustle and bustle of cosmopolitan Sydney. The island is dotted with houses nestled amongst the tall gums and vegetation and boasts a generous selection of flora and fauna and wildlife.
There is no road access to the island so visitors are required to catch a ferry from Church Point to the island.
When?
Throughout the year.
Where?
Scotland Island
South end of Pittwater,
North Sydney.
How much?
Free entry.

I agree. A trip to Scotland Island is a great way to spend an idle Sunday (or any other day off for that matter). I used to go there when some friends of mine lived there but unfortunately I don't get there anymore.
