Sydney's famous Paddy's Markets is Australia's original market selling a wide range of goods from fruit and veggies to clothing; CDs to flowers; homewares, sunglasses and jewellery. It is also one of Sydney's major suppliers to the tourist with some of the biggest variety of souvenirs.
The origin of Paddy's Market dates back to 1834 - its rich history ensuring its iconic status in Australia. Today, Paddy's market can be found In two locations: Haymarket (in the city) and Flemington (out West).
Paddy's Market Haymarket is typically opened for four days of the week (Thurs - Sun) plus the Monday as well if it falls on a public holiday. Paddy's Market Flemington is open from Friday to Sunday.
