The Australian National Maritime Museum provides its visitors with an in-depth look at Australia's love of the ocean and all things maritime.
The museum boasts a huge range of exhibitions which explores different aspects of Australia's maritime history and one of the highlights includes the opportunity of climbing aboard a replica of Captain Cook's 18th century ship of discovery HM Bark Endeavour.
Other must-see exhibitions includes the former Navy destroyer, HMAS Vampire, an Oberon class submarine Onslow and Tu Do, a Vietnamese refugee boat.
When?
Open daily: 9:30am - 5:00pm (6.00 pm in January)
Closed Christmas day.
