Museum of Australian Currency Notes

The Museum of Australian Currency Notes was opened to the public on March 1, 2005 and tells the story of our currency notes against the background of Australia's economic and social development, through a number of stages beginning in 1788.

There are various displays of notes at the museum, including some interesting notes that were designed but never used. Learn what they portray about Australia and who are the people shown on our notes and many more.
