Mosman Bay Walk

The Mosman Bay Walk in the exclusive Sydney suburb of Mosman, is about 8 kilometres long and takes roughly 3 hours to complete. Taking in the beautiful sights of Mosman, Sirius Cove Beach, Whiting Beach, Athol Wharf, Taronga Zoo and Bradley's Head, the walk is one of the city's most rich and colourful trails.

A lot of Sydney's history can be viewed on the walk including an interesting mixture of architecture along the way such as the century old Heidelberg School; the historical Bradley's Head which once was a gun emplacement for the protection of Sydney but is now a National Park; a memorial to the four naval vessels which have borne the name H.M.A.S.Sydney; and a stone column from the old Sydney Post Office that is used to measure a distance of precisely one nautical mile from the tower of Fort Denison.
