Mary McKillop Museum and Coffee Shop and Chapel are the most wonderful places to visit and I go there regularly.
My great disappointment last Saturday was to find a very rough noisy group of people in the Coffee Shop who were showing the greatest disrespect for this wonderful relgious place. Each was trying to see how loud they could talk or shout and their voices were heard in the Chapel and at the tomb of Mary which was very distracting for those wishing to pray or have a quiet cup of coffee. The strange thing was the mother that told her child not to put butter on the banana bread as there was butter in it but her voice carried over into the chapel with the very loud group of people she was with. I feel this was a won off occasion as I go there frequently and felt these people may have been out drinking all night.
