Long Live the Weekend

Yesterday's post was so worth a comment! I actually put effort in and reminisced and stuff and not one single comment.

How disappointing.

If you happened to cruise by (searching ninemsn, google etc) and found it interesting, but don’t have an account to leave a comment, it takes 30 seconds to sign up. Just think, that 30 seconds could mean my personal happiness for a whole day... do you think a whole day of happiness for someone else is worth 30 seconds of your time?

I obviously don't, because i just spend the last 30 seconds of your time making you feel bad...

In other news, the panthers lost last night... absolutely creamed by the sharks. I was almost late because of the Stupid Hawkesbury show... well the traffic outside was stupid, not the show. It must be good because at 6.45 the traffic was horrendous (note to show goers, get there early). Dont forget the show is on right now and is on for the next 2 days.

If you happen to be bored, or even if your extremely busy, you should definitely make time for Freudian Slip. Lia's writing is exceptional and the content will have you coming back for more even after you've read the whole archive of interesting stuff four or five times. I'm not going to tell you what it's about because it's just better if you read it for yourself.

If like me, you're into science you cant go past Liz and her Science News, it's always interesting and even if you're not into science, most of the news stands alone as interesting regardless of the scientific content.

Well that was the shameless plugs for this weekend, stay tuned for more plugs next weekend!

Matt dearest, thank you for the plug! Actually I have been cruising by regularly, and was most touched my your sincere plea for us to help you out with tips and events. And I felt horrible because I couldn't think of a single thing! And even worse when you so nicely commented on my blog.

But exciting events outside the bedroom... the best I can do is a little mention of all the Romeo and Juliet productions going on around Sydney. Specifically the little-known one starting May 2 I think at the Seymour Centre, and the much more publicised Bell Shakespeare production - possibly June, but again not entirely sure. You could find out!

Ok, not as exciting as concerts and crocodiles. But I try. And keep writing!

you shouldn't feel horrible... most of the time i cant even think of things to post up, usually my posts involve an hour or so of research the half an hour of writing, i know it doesn't seem like i put in that much effort but i really do. The quality of your writing is definately worth a mention so you shouldn't be thanking me, you should be patting yourself on the back. Ive had a look at the R&J productions, i was going to mention the Bell production in a few weeks, but i dont think i saw the Seymour one around so thanks for the help!

ahh young love how i so desperately, desperately miss it

i have an event to plug, there is a place in emu plains, across the river from penrith, called the emus flute cafe. i played the guitar there on saturday night. beecause every saturday night they have "live at the flute" performances, where young, talented musicians can play for an audience.

there's no cost to get in, its a small classy little place, you've gotta go see inside, but if you do drop by, say on a saturday night around 8:30 or 9, buy a drink or two, cause the place is relatively new to the area, and extra business would be great, so we can have more local musicians getting performance experience, cause it's something penrith needs.

i can give an exact location if you want.

i'm gonna go check it out next saturday night too, just to see another performer and to be able to relax with some live music

lol
the place sells alcohol, but i don't know the price of anything. i think its just spirits too. cause its a cafe, with an alcohol license for after 6 or something. but performers are usually on 8:30-9.
but after its all finished we could always head to o'dons, though i can't drink

crocodiles with chainsaws? We're so close, so close to sharks with frickin' laser beams.
