James Morrison plays Lalo Schifrin at The Opera House
Appearing for the last 2 season with much success Lalo Schifrin returns to the Opera House this year. Collaborating and conducting Australian Trumpet virtuoso James Morrison, pianist Ambre Hammond and the Sydney Symphony in a trio of original compositions he has written for an imaginary film.
Composer Lalo Sciffrin is a musical legend who's cinema scores have defined an era. Blending Jazz, classical and contemporary styles his exceptional soundtracks include Dirty Harry, Bullitt and Enter The Dragon. He won an Oscar for the music to Cool Hand Luke and also created iconic Television themes for shows like Mission Impossible and Starsky and Hutch.
This is truly a special event for cinephiles and orchestra fans looking to experience something unique.
