As I’ve discussed previously on several occasions, Deloris is the best band in the world. Seriously, if you haven’t heard of them yet, the release of their fourth coming album will most certainly grab your attention. The new music coming form the Deloris camp is a step away from their last album, much harder, much more intense - rocked up with a kick to the distortion pedal.
With any luck, its the kind of album that is likely to jettison them toward a much larger audience that will buy more records and keep the band in business. From what I’ve heard from Marcus and on their Myspace, there is no way that the album could not be anything but an improvement, their last album was an excellent masterpiece and this one is set to be even bigger.
Deloris are coming back to Sydney to get their name around and launch their new single, Loup Garou, at the Hopetoun Hotel on the 11th of August. It’s going to be sweet. The Hopetoun is an excellent venue, perfect for the chilled Deloris tunes, and tongs kitchen has awesome food too. Click here to read a review about the Hopetoun.
