Cirque du Soleil - Varekai

This looks really cool, so cool in fact that my parents are going! I love Cirque du Soleil, every time they have something on TV I sit and watch it right through, mesmerised by the strange costumes and the interesting flips and spins and choreography. I would imagine, like most things, it’s even better in person.
This particular show seems interesting too: "Varekai means "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies"... That opens the door to endless possibilities... but as it is Cirque, most of those possibilities will involve flips and cool stuff of some kind. Apparently, it’s the story of a "winged youth who falls to earth and who strives once again to reach new heights". Sounds like a typical sort of Cirque du Soleil plot... interesting…
You can watch a clip of the performance too, right here!
The show is on in Sydney from August until September with various sessions throughout the day, the tickets are on sale now and prices are as follows:
VIP: $250
A Reserve: $109
B Reserve: $89
C (Restricted view): $69
You can get your tickets here. You can also find out much more about Varekai right here.
Viva la Cirque du Soleil!
