Brand New hails from Long Island, New York and are a four-piece rock band with a huge following in their native country.
Formed in 2000, the band has released three albums - Your Favorite Weapon (2001), Deja Entendu (2003), and The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me (2006) and has built their reputation on energetic and constant touring and, of course, their fantastic music.
Brand New are: Jesse Lacey, Vincent Accardi, Garrett Tierney, Brian Lane and Derrick Sherman.

Can you compare their music style to another or maybe an amalgamation of others.
Would be interested to hear. I lived in the states for several years and saw great bands in their early days
travelling through colleges eg; dave mathews, g love and special sauce, primus etc. some great music over there that never makes it over or not until many years later.
